Julie Lewin is the artist behind Juleya Rose Art. After participating in a one day art workshop in 2000, a new world of expression opened up for Julie. After the workshop, she began giving collage gifts to her friends. The feedback from them was that when they looked at their collage, they could feel the stress and tension flow out of their body, leaving them in a tranquil frame of mind. After two years of creating gifts for people, Julie began the process of creating art for the public. Following a vivid dream where she foresaw how to create a montage from beginning to end, Julie was able to replicate the image created in the dream. The result is an exhibition of extraordinary art with the underlying premise of illustrating the cycle of life, incorporating the many distractions people undertake as they journey "home", yet illustrating the upward process of self-understanding. Each inspired piece of art generates an individual inward journey for the viewer as the beautiful globally inspired and harmonious montage triggers responses and memories in their mind.
People who have attended Julie’s exhibitions haven’t seen anything like it before, particularly the way the images and colours have been combined. There is a tangible calming experienced when viewing the Juleya Rose Art and it would be an excellent addition to all homes, the workplace, foyers and waiting rooms. The Giclee print process has been embraced to replicate the Juleya Rose Art on high quality 400 gsm water colour arches. The prices of the giclee’s ranges from AUD$80.00 - AUD$320.00 depending on the size.
